Fun Times With Family

AOII loves the dawgs and the parents! The ladies of Alpha Omicron Pi hosted festivities to celebrate their families and for the new members, allowed them the opportunity to showcase this new place they call home. On Friday, an event took place at the Taylor Grady House, with lots of food and dancing! Grayson Coker, a member of the new pledge class, said that she loved getting to introduce all her friends to her parents and get to know theirs!

On Saturday it was time to tailgate! The day’s activities began at Alpha Omicron Pi with yummy biscuits from Mama’s Boy to fuel up for the game day ahead. By noon it was time for everyone to come together to cheer on the dawgs which ultimately resulted in another UGA win and a fantastic close to an exciting parents weekend! Emma Baggett, a sophomore AOII, said “I love getting to meet my friends’ parents and see a little piece of their home! It’s crazy that we come to college and spend every day together yet forget that we miss out on the little things like getting to know their family. Needless to say, I love getting to see where my friends get their crazy, fun, kindhearted spirits from.”
