PANhellenic Woman of the Month

Now that the busy month of August is coming to a close, it is time to announce the August 2018 PANhellenic Woman of the Month!

Because the woman comprising the Panhellenic community at the University of Georgia are involved in numerous ways around campus and the greater community, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is a new honor that showcases these amazing sorority women. As a public relations campaign, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is publicized on UGA Panhellenic's social media platforms, the Panhellenic newsletter and the here, on the Panhellenic blog.

Taylor Maggiore, a member of Gamma Phi Beta and Athens native, is certainly deserving of this title. As a 2018 Orientation Leader, Taylor had the opportunity to impact the lives of incoming students and introduce them to life at the University of Georgia. An experience that she described as “happy exhaustion,” Taylor said she could not imagine her collegiate experience without her time as an Orientation Leader. Also, she is active student in the Grady College's sports media program and a WIT tutor. Yet another facet of campus that receives Taylor’s involvement is UGA HEROs. As the Greek Member Relations Chair on the HEROs Executive Board, she utilizes her involvement in the Panhellenic community to make a larger impact on campus. Overall, Taylor truly embodies a remarkable member of the Panhellenic community.

When asked about how being Greek has impacted her collegiate years, Taylor says, “I love being a Panhellenic woman at UGA because the girls I’m surrounded by push me to be my most authentic self. The women I’ve met through Greek life are involved all around campus through different organizations, clubs and colleges. I love growing while being around women who are thriving in their respective fields!”

Congratulations to Taylor! UGA Panhellenic is extremely proud to call you a member of this community.
