Greeks Got Talent

On Tuesday April 4th, The University of Georgia’s Greek Councils hosted the first annual Greeks Got Talent, benefitting the Student’s Veteran Association. The Student’s Veterans Association works on campus to assist and provide resources specific to the needs of student veterans.

Together the National Panhellenic Council, Multi-Cultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Interfraternity Council members nominated contestants to showcase their talents while raising awareness and funds for the cause. This event was a remarkable opportunity for all Greek members to come together and show support, uniqueness, and creativity! Talents ranged from enthusing solo vocalists and guitar performances, to light-hearted and funny acts, to impressive group step and dance shows. Known peers such as the current Miss UGA, the former SGA President, and Hairy Dawg judged the individual performances. At the end of the night the first place winner was IFC’s Jordan Rowe; however, the true success was that all of the proceeds raised through the hard work and dedication of the Greek Councils will help provide great resources for our peers who have sacrificed so much for the student body, and even greater, for our country!
