Gamma Chi Spotlight
It’s that time of year. Spring parties, G-Day, philanthropy events, warm weather, and for our upperclassmen, worrying about what they heck they’re going to be doing this summer. Will they get an internship? Will they study abroad? Will they stay at home for another summer?
Junior Ansley Long is serving as a Gamma Chi for Recruitment 2017 and she recently solidified her plans for this summer. She received an amazing internship at Texas A&M University with the Student Affairs Division. Ansley is a Human Development and Family Science Major with a Minor in Leadership in Student Affairs, so there is no better way for her to be spending the summer!
She will be joining the University’s Office of New Student and Family Programs where she will help with the facilitation of orientation sessions over the summer for freshmen and transfer students. Additionally, Ansley will be working with the Leadership and Service Office. After graduation, she wants to work for a university (hopefully UGA) in the Student Affairs Department. Ansley is passionate about helping students make the most of their college experience, and her internship this summer will give her the opportunity to do just that. UGA Panhellenic is so proud of Ansley and so excited to see what she does this summer! She’s going to have some great stories and advice for her Potential New Members during Recruitment!
