Unleash the Grind

The sisters of Sigma Delta Tau have been working so hard to prepare for SDT Greek Grind – their upcoming philanthropy event! ALL proceeds go towards Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). Last year, these women were able to raise $89,000, and this year they are on track to raise even more than that! Sigma Delta Tau is honored to have Instagram sensation Claudia Oshry, the Girl with No Job, hosting the event. With the show being just a week away, the girls have been scrambling to put the finishing touches on what is the biggest Greek philanthropy on campus. The SDT Greek Grind coordinator, Brittany Paris, has implemented several new initiatives in order to maximize fundraising potential. For example, the sorority has partnered with Zombie Donuts & Coffee to create a special “SDT Greek Grind Donut” (with blue frosting for PCAA of course)! They have also created an SDT Greek Grind Venmo accout, so that supporters can easily send donations right from their phones. Additionally, for those who were unable to procure tickets to the show, SDT will be selling tickets to a live-stream of the event that will be displayed downtown at Jerzees.

Sigma Delta Tau was honored to put their social media skills to good use to win the Standard’s Instagram competition and the Curtsy competition– all $1,500 of their winnings will be contributed to the fundraising total! With the event right around the corner, these women can’t wait to see the dances that every sorority has been working so hard to prepare. Let’s get ready to UNLEASH THE GRIND!
