Tri Delta Travelers
This past summer, many members of Delta Delta Delta had the amazing opportunity to study abroad all over the world. Two juniors, Natalie Amante and Nori Hall, were able to spend six weeks in Cadiz, Spain. They had the opportunity to improve their Spanish speaking skills as well as travel to different cities on the weekends. One of Natalie’s most memorable parts of the trip was being able to play soccer with some of the local children and developing friendships with the children. Sophomores Katie Graham and Claire McDowell, as well as junior Sarah Manning, were lucky enough to spend six weeks in Oxford, England taking classes and making new friends from all over the world. One of Katie’s favorite experiences was being able to watch John Isner, who is University of Georgia alumni, play at Wimbledon! Juniors Olivia Ballard, Lexi Ruppel, Natale Benkert, and Kaitlyn Timblin spent the summer exploring Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. They were able to experience the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, and bungee jump in Queenstown while meeting some incredible people on the way! Olivia said, “It’s hard to pick a favorite part of the trip because It was all absolutely amazing, but I would have to say getting to hike to a glacier lake on MT Cook was the most memorable.” Delta Delta Delta is so happy for the girls who experienced wonderful adventures this summer, but is happy to have their sisters back in the US ready for a new year!
