A Tale of Two Passions
Alpha Gamma Delta’s Tina Banjo has had an exciting summer full of music! The rising senior kicked off her break with a Maymester abroad in Alessandria, Italy, studying at the Conservatorio Vivaldi. Tina spent three weeks learning to play the piano and studied music theory and music business as part of the program presented by UGA’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Her favorite memory from her time abroad was “meeting Italian music students and trying to convince them that Drake should not be considered a ‘trap’ rapper.” Shortly after returning to Georgia, Tina began an internship as an assistant account manager for a full service business management, multi-state tax, and accounting firm in Atlanta. The firm’s expertise is providing high net worth individuals with a unique concierge level service to meet the specialized needs of athletes and entertainers. “My two passions in life have always been personal finance and music,” said Tina, “so gaining the opportunity to learn how to make a career that entails something like making a tour budget for one of my favorite bands has been awesome.” Alpha Gamma Delta is so proud to have members like Tina who work hard to pursue their passions!
