The Name Says It All

Madison French, a member of Delta Phi Epsilon, has just come back from her study abroad trip in Cannes with Grady College of Journalism! She spent over three weeks in the south of France studying with 56 other students and four UGA professors. She attended the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity where she met with some of the biggest names in public relations and advertising. She even got to meet celebrities such as John Cena, Mindy Kaling, and Martha Stewart at the festival. Madison said, “Cannes Lions really challenged me to think creatively and has helped me identify clear goals for my future.” In her daily blog she wrote, “Everyday I am left speechless by the opportunities and experiences I have been so thankful to be a part of.” When she wasn’t writing articles and updating her blog, she was having fun on the beach or country hopping with her fellow students. Madison is so excited to bring what she learned on her trip back to Grady and to DPhiE. She loved having the opportunity to get to know other girls in the Panhellenic community who were on the trip and can’t wait to grab some chocolate croissants with them from Independent Bakery in the fall!
