Panhellenic's Programming Committee

As the Director of Programming for the Panhellenic Council, Becca Pannek's primary responsibility has been the internal programming and event planning within the council. Becca, along with her committee, have also coordinated events that reach out to the entire Panhellenic community. The Programming Committee began the semester by planning Exec Day, which was a great opportunity for the executive boards of each chapter to pick each other brains on the day-to-day operations of their individual sororities. At this event, exec members gathered for desserts, coffee, and a few team-building activities.

Throughout the entire semester, the committee helps plan Sister Sorority Events, where each sorority is matched with another so that they can do a bonding event together and get to know the girls in other chapters! Some of these have included movie nights, RUSH Athens, and Lil Icecream Dude parties.

Currently, the committee is in the works of planning New Member Day, a day to congratulate and welcome all new sorority women into our Panhellenic community. This will be taking place in September, and they can’t wait to see all of the great things that will come of this event!

An ongoing effort is the programming within the council to get closer to each other. This past month we painted together at Artini’s and several other events are being planned for the council.

Involving all sorority women in our events makes the planning even more exciting! I am thrilled to see where this committee goes in the future and all that the Panhellenic council can accomplish".
