Diamonds Are a Guy's Best Friend

On Sunday, April 10th 2016, Zeta Tau Alpha at the University of Georgia will be putting on their annual Diamond Challenge Softball Tournament to raise awareness and money for the chapter's philanthropy. Their philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Diamond Challenge is a softball tournament where teams of guys from various fraternities, groups of friends, or other organizations compete against each other. Additionally, each team is coached by a ZTA member. This year is particularly exciting because not only is their 40 teams, totaling 435 players, but one team also consists of all Zeta Tau Alpha members' fathers. The Dad's team is going to add a unique twist to the event. Lindsey Powell, the philanthropy chair, and her committee have been working tirelessly to make this event a huge success. Navie Birdwell, the Diamond Challenge Chairmen said, "I am super excited for this year's Diamond Challenge tournament. We have so many new additions to year's past, including the much anticipated dads team! I love being a part of something that is so fun and goes to such a great cause. Lindsey, Mary Elizabeth, and our committee had so much fun planning it and can't wait to see the turnout!" Come out to Bishop Park on Sunday from 11-7 and support your favorite team and Breast Cancer Education and Awareness!
