Meet Audrey Garden
Meet Audrey Garden, a sophomore on the executive board of Alpha Chi Omega. Not only is she the Vice President of Risk Management for AXO, but she is also the Public Relations Director of CURE at UGA. As Vice President of Risk Management, her job includes making sure the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega stays safe on campus and at the chapter’s events! CURE is an organization very close to Audrey’s heart. The organization is dedicated to raising money and awareness for children in third world countries. CURE at UGA fundraises for CURE’s Kenya hospital, which provides free-surgeries to children who suffer from curable diseases and cannot afford what is often a life-saving surgery. Audrey’s position allows her to help raise awareness about the upcoming events and get people pumped about CURE. Her involvement with this group has sparked her desire to pursue a degree in Public Relations, and more specifically, helped her to realize her passion for working with nonprofit organizations. She was just recently accepted into the Grady School of Journalism for Public Relations and is minoring in English with an intended certificate in Global Studies. This summer, she will be going on a mission project to Belfast, Ireland with Cru International for 5 weeks. She will be outreaching to students at local universities, and we are so excited to hear about it! Audrey has a great heart and amazing opportunities ahead!
