Summer Internship to New York Fashion Week

Margaret Millians, a junior Phi Mu, spent her summer as a public relations intern for the fashion designer Tibi. Working in their New York office, Margaret got hands on experience working under and along side the entire Tibi team. The founder and lead designer of Tibi, Amy Smilovic, is a UGA alumnae. She started the brand in 1997, while living abroad in Hong Kong, it has since transformed and grown internationally. Just a few weeks ago Margaret returned to New York to assist and enjoy Tibi’s show at NYC Fashion Week. She continues her relationship with Tibi working at Heery’s and helping to bring the Heery’s Tibi Fashion Show that will be held October 1st. Through Margaret’s internship, she not only gained experience but gained beneficial contacts and developed long lasting relationships.
